We just had a very long vacation last week because of the chinese new year. This year’s chinese new year festivities fell last Feb. 18~20 (Sunday to Tuesday) in addition to the 2 days of official holiday our company gave us also a 3 days off plus my personal day off on Saturday and the 2 Sundays. So all in all I got a 8 days rest.

As I’ve checked the sitemeter on my blog i just saw a hit referral coming from a google search using the keyword “Valentines ng OFW”. obviously I think the one searching is also an OFW because he/she is located on UAE. Anyway, whoever he/she is I just hope he/she is not looking for a date on the internet. lol
Well judging by the way he/she picks the keywords I think Probably he/she is looking for an article or something to read on how an OFW spend their valentines without their partners or without having a date.

sa araw-araw na ginawa ng diyos laging laman ngayon ng isipan ko ang aking mag-iina. Lalo na ngayong buwan na ng mga puso, oo nga pala valentines na naman sa isang linggo, pang ilang valentines ko na ba itong nagdaan na hindi ko man lang nakakasama ang aking valentina?, pangatlo na pala since 2005 pa.
Para sa akin memorable talaga ang buwan ng pebrero hindi lang dahil sa araw ito ng mga nagmamahalan, kundi buwan din ito ng pag-iisang dibdib namin ng noo’y akin pa lamang nobya (wow! ang lalim ng tagalog ko ah? tsk! tsk! pag-homesick ka nga naman tumitindi ang pagiging korni). Pang-apat na taon na rin namin bilang mag-asawa itong darating na disi-otso ng pebrero pero mas mahaba pa ang kami’y magkalayo kaysa sa magkasama.
