An OFW’s survival guide on valentines day

As I’ve checked the sitemeter on my blog i just saw a hit referral coming from a google search using the keyword “Valentines ng OFW”.  obviously I think the one searching is also an OFW because he/she is located on UAE. Anyway, whoever he/she is I just hope he/she is not looking for a date on the internet. lol
Well judging by the way he/she picks the keywords I think Probably he/she is looking for an article or something  to read on how an OFW spend their valentines without their partners or without having a date.

As an OFW myself who spend 3 consecutive years of a dateless valentine. Not because I can’t find myself anyone to date with but because my wife who is my lifetime valentine is not here with me. Well anyway here is the list of what I did to survive that celebrated non-holiday festival.

  • Work overtime
  • Work some more overtime
  • Then finally go to sleep 

After all, working is the only reasons why we are here right? he he he.
